PORTRAIT SESSION

PEOPLE WILL STARE. MAKE IT WORTH THEIR WHILE.

- Tom Ford

When it comes to styling, I've got your back! With years of experience behind the camera, I've learned a thing or two about what looks best in photos. I recommend bright jewel-tones and dressing in complimentary layers. Ladies, don't forget nude-colored undergarments!

Ultimately, you should wear a mix of outfits that truly showcase your personality and style. With that in mind, be sure to also wear functional clothing that allows you to move and pose in a variety of positions: standing, sitting, squatting, etc. The last thing your clothing should do is limit you in any way.

Coordinate your look from head-to-toe, including your jewelry, accessories and shoes. If you're unsure of what to wear together, bring whatever you love and I can help you pair everything together!

A Professional Makeup Artist  will use techniques to emphasize your best features to ensure a flawless look.

A Professional Makeup Artist can ensure a mistake-free experience. I only use the best in the industry for my portrait clients.

There is huge difference in "everyday makeup" and "camera ready makeup".

Education is key. Using a Professional Makeup Artist who knows how to work with camera-ready makeup will elevate your look and take your portraits to the next level.

Professional makeup is what Brides, Models and the Movie Industry uses. You deserve the very best when it comes to your senior portraits. Don't settle for anything less!

Regular makeup is hard to see through all the filters in the high-definition cameras. With professional makeup, you will look natural and glamorous for your portraits.

I have 3 different sessions for my High School Seniors that include the following:

Professional on-location makeup
1-3 hours of shoot time
Styling Consultation
Private gallery of 30-45 images from your session
Premium Ordering Session

Q

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY SESSION?

You should bring all of your outfits, pressed and on hangers- un-ironed clothes are impossible to "fix" in Photoshop, so this is so important! Be sure to also bring lots of accessories, shoes and appropriate undergarments.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR HAIR & MAKEUP?
You hair should be all done before you arrive for your professional makeup application. Wear an open-neck or button-down shirt and take all hair-ties off of your wrists. Your face should be clean and moisturized. If needed, take a look at my Pinterest Inspiration Board for makeup ideas.

CAN I BRING SOMEONE TO THE SHOOT?

Of course! In fact, a parent or guardian at the shoot is a requirement. If you would like to bring a friend or a sibling, that's great, too. Try to keep it down to one extra person because it can get overwhelming with too many people.

WHAT IS YOUR EDITING PROCESS?
I digitally retouch every single image you'll see. I am considered a boutique photographer and I won't ever give you an unfinished product! All of your images will be enhanced with color and lighting correction, exposure adjustments, skin smoothing, blemish removal and additional fine-tuning, as needed.

WHEN WILL MY PICTURES BE READY?
It usually takes 10-14 days to edit all of your images. When you place your order, the editing process starts immediately! You can expect your prints and products within 2-4 weeks after you place your order.

{A:} We understand that not one person is the same, so we have created multiple sessions and packages, ensuring there is something for everyone. For more detailed information on sessions and packages please request our pricing guide.

{Q:} Can I have a pet, friend or family member in my some of my pictures?
{A:} Yes you can, there is a fee to add an additional person to part of your session.

{Q:} Are parents or friends allowed at my session?
{A:} Absolutely, this is an important day for you, we want anyone special to you to experience it with you.

{Q:} Do I drive myself to my session?
{A:} Yes, unfortunately we are not covered to have you ride with us. You will be responsible for your own transportation to your shoot and to each location.

{Q:} When will I get to see my images?
{A:} Our seniors get to see their images throughout their entire session on the back of the camera. At the end of your session you get 10 minutes on the clock to quickly star your favorites, I know it sounds terrifying to have to cut out images in 10 minutes, trust me it’s not as hard as you think and nothing gets deleted. Up to three sneak peeks will be posted on IG throughout the next two weeks. You’ll have to wait for the rest.

{Q:} My session is over, what’s the next step.
{A:} You will need to set up an in person ordering session. Due to evening shoot sessions IPS are scheduled during the day. We recommend setting up your appointment the day of your session. IPS are scheduled 3 weeks after your shoot, this allows us time to get your images ready for viewing. If your session doesn’t include an IPS session your online gallery will be ready within 3 weeks of your session and an email with the link will be sent to the email we have on file.

{Q:} How long does it take to get my products? Will they be shipped to us or do we pick them up?
{A:} Products typically take 3 weeks. We love to inspect all our products to make sure they meet our expectations before we hand them over to you. Once all your products are in you will be notified and a pickup time can be scheduled.

{Q:} I see beautiful destinations on your portfolio, do you travel for sessions?
{A:} Yes, I love to travel and always up for a new destination and new backdrops. Travel fees will be added on top of your session fee. We do also try to offer a unique destination to our seniors once a year. Over the years we have offered both in the states and international.

{Q:} I love your creative portraits but not very creative myself, can I still have a creative session?
{A:} YES YES YES! We love getting creative and bringing your vision to life. You just have to let us know and we will take it from there!

{Q:} Can I repost or share my images on social media?
{A:} Absolutely! We want you to share your experience and images with your friends and family. All we ask is that you tag us in your post.

{Q:} I see a lot of water shots in your portfolio do you require your clients to get in the water?
{A:} Absolutely not! We will not ask you to do anything you are not comfortable with, in fact we don’t ask anyone to get into the water. If you are wanting to add water shoots to your senior collection, be sure to let us know so we can make sure you're prepared.

{Q:} Do you photograph boys?
{A:} Yes! Majority of our bookings are girls but we love working with boy seniors just as much!

{Q:} Do you only shoot seniors?
{A:} We love working with teens! Our work is so much more than taking pretty pictures. Five years ago, we decided to specialize in senior portraits and currently only book high school seniors June-October. We still love other genres of photography and book them throughout the year. We do not photograph families, children, newborn or boudoir but would be happy to refer you to someone who does.

{Q:} What kind of sessions or packages do you offer and what do they include?
