This week’s theme is AROUND THE HOUSE. For me the most precious things around my house will be my kids and their busy lives, more so than mine!

I have known this family since Noah and Daniela went to elementary school together; field trips and early morning conversations with Felicia were always very pleasant. When she won my giveaway I was very excited to be able to photograph them – I knew them, I really like them and it was another chance to see them again now that our kids are going to different schools. The photo-shoot went great. The kids did very well specially when mom and dad made them laugh. I was able to capture their personalities and the love that brother and sister share for each other – that was the most fun part for me, seeing the kids being so special to one another and how much love they have for their parents.
Felicia and Oscar it was great to see all of you. I miss those early morning conversations as well; it is always great to be able to speak in my native tongue with Oscar.
Now here are some of your images… enjoy them.

Today’s theme Wednesday is Self portrait. I tried to think out of the box with this theme, but nothing was coming to my head that I would like. During the weekend with some friends we visit their new house on the lake. We sat at the deck with perfect weather, perfect breeze and one BEAUTIFUL sunsent!!! sitting there I thought about this picture but the only problem (not a very good one for a photographer) I didn’t have my camera with me – since I just didn’t want to pass this moment, I asked my husband for his cellphone and here it is my self portrait picture. I love how spontaneous it was and I love how the idea came to me so fast.
